Kakava is the Hıdırellezi of Thrace. Hıdrellez is the belief that the prophets Hızır and İlyas met at the bottom of a rose tree, which is considered to be one of the important days in the Turkish world and is considered to be the harbinger of spring in Edirne; Kakava Festivals are celebrated for Roma people, with great preparations and eagerly awaited results throughout the year. A riot of colors occurs around Edirne's Gogo Cemetery. Kakava Fire is a joy show attended by tens of thousands of people in the Devil's Creek of Kırklareli. Itinerary Exit from Istanbul - Edirne - Kakava Festivals

We begin our pleasant discovery journey with your participation from the departure points so that you, our valued guests, can make the most of your day. After our approximately 3 and a half hour journey with our luxury buses, accompanied by our in-car breakfast, we arrive at the Keçeçizade Production Factory, where Edirne's Famous Almond Paste and Kavala Cookies are produced, and take a break for both needs and shopping. . While we watch the making of Almond Paste and Kavala Cookies, we taste and try Keçeçizade's treats. We give free time for shopping. After free time, after completing our tour of Selimiye Mosque, the work of Mimar Sinan, we also visit Ali Pasha Bazaar, where you can find fruit soaps and ornamental brooms. For lunch, we go to our Restaurant to eat Edirne's Famous Fried Liver (extra). Our first stop after lunch is II. Beyazıt Social Complex and II. We visit the Beyazıt Complex, which was built by Beyazıt and includes a mosque, madrasah, bimarhanesi, tabhane and soup kitchen. After visiting the Social Complex, which includes the Museum of the History of Medicine, which received an award from the European Union, we say it is time for fun and we head towards Sarayiçi, where the Kakava Festival is held. We are attending the Hıdırellez (Hz. Hızır and Prophet Elijah) Spring Welcoming Ceremony. According to an Islamic belief, Hazrat Khidr and Prophet Elijah meet on May 5 and the world turns green. Winter ends and with spring comes the preparation period for summer. We will welcome spring in the atmosphere of this different culture, accompanied by cheerful novels, "KAKAVA FESTIVALS", together with you and wishing you well. We will see the biggest kakava fire and jump over it 3 times according to belief. After completing this 2-hour entertainment, we say goodbye to Edirne and start our journey to Istanbul around 18:00, with memories you will never forget. Upon our arrival in Istanbul, we bid farewell to you, our valued guests, to see you at another organization.
